iPhone 6- The world is expecting so more.

iPhone6

Everything we know about Apple’s next-generation iPhone 6, including specs, release
date rumours, and features
iPhone 6 will feature 4.8-inch display, according to analyst
Apple's next iPhone, the iPhone 6, will feature an enlarged 4.8-inch display, according to predictions from prominent analyst Peter Misek of Jeffries.

Misek bases this latest assertion on his recent meetings with Apple suppliers in Asia.
While Misek's note to investors did not detail precisely why he believes Apple will stamp a significant 0.8 of an inch onto its
exsiting 4-inch display design he did add that the current popularity of larger-screened smartphones would drive sales and
upgrades to unprecedented levels.

"We think the 85 million iPhones eligible for an upgrade when the iPhone 6 launches (we think Apple is targeting Sep 2014)
could be boosted by another 5-10 million from people who skipped the 5S/5C cycle," he said.
Misek's prediction of a larger-screened iPhone isn't exactly new, we've been hearing about the possibility of a screen
expansion pretty much since the first iPhone.
It materialised in the iPhone 5's 4-inch screen, up from the 3.5-inches of previous models, but by this point such a boost
was widely regarded as not enough considering the 5-inch behemoths winning massive sales over on the ever expanding Android share of the smartphone market.

Apple will reduce reliance on Samsung for iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 will see Apple reduce its dependency of Samsung-built components, reports from Korea suggest.

Samsung and Apple might be doing battle in courts the globe-over, but the two companies are intrinsically linked in more
ways than one –– Samsung built the 64-bit A7 chipset inside the iPhone 5S.
Samsung will produce around 30-to-40% of Apple’s A8 chipsets, while TSMC will oversee the lion’s share, according to
sources familiar with the matter. The Korea Economic Daily suggests Apple has already commissioned Taiwan
Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) to build the processor for the iPhone 6.
Apple will still have to use Samsung to a certain extent due to “issues” with the fabrication process. TSMC cannot produce
chipsets in high enough yields, so Apple cannot afford to abandon Samsung’s services entirely.
“Despite the on-going patent disputes between the two companies and Samsung’s increased position as Apple’s leading
smartphone and tablet rival, the Galaxy Note 3 producer has supplied the processing unit’s for all of Apple’s iPhone handsets to date.

On top of this, Samsung has been used as a component supplier for RAM modules and display units in
the past,” reports Trusted Reviews.
Component suppliers revealed that Apple is now in the process of testing large-form displays for the iPhone 6. One source
said the company is very interested –– and rather pleased –– with recent tests conducted using a 4.8-inch panel.
iPhone 6: Some Excellent Concept Designs
The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are here and they’re selling like hot cakes – Apple shifted 9 million last weekend alone.
But there’s still a lot of chatter and expectation surrounding the company’s next flagship – mostly because it is expected to be
the first iPhone with an Android-sized display.
Apple execs have confirmed that they’re “experimenting” with larger panels for future iPhones, but so far nothing else is
known – at least in an official capacity – about 2014’s iPhone 6. Although that hasn’t stopped designers and CAD experts
dreaming up visions and ideas about where Apple could potentially take the design language of its next iPhone.

And no one does iPhone renders quite like Jonny Plaid, as you can see below:
Apple, give this man a job.

iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C get official

It’s happened. Apple’s new iPhones are here, and neither are called the iPhone 6. But we knew that was going to happen –
Apple loves its incremental updates, even if you don’t. And the iPhone 5S, despite what some say, is still a pretty significant
update with its 64-bit processor and M7 coprocessor, as well as the improvements Apple has made to its imaging
capabilities. So don’t be too glum.

"But it doesn’t really look any different to the iPhone 5" – we know, we know. It doesn't – but that's life, and Apple is a
cruel mistress in that regard. Although you can take solace in that fact that next year’s update – the one we're calling the
iPhone 6 – is likely to be a huge overhaul on the current iPhone 5S and iPhone 5.
Bigger displays, better spec, a new design, and more connectivity – that's just a few of the things we'll see. This article is
our iPhone 6 Hub – a place for everything iPhone 6-related. Most of the stuff will be based on rumour and/or conjecture,
and some of it won't make sense to begin with, but as 2014 approaches things will inevitably start to pick up and a picture
of what the iPhone 6 will look and be like will gradually begin to form, just as it did with the iPhone 5S and 5C ahead of
their respective launches.

So, for all things iPhone 6 – look no further. It’ll appear in here as soon as it happens, so expect this Hub to change, evolve
and develop as the months go by and a more detailed picture of Apple's iPhone 6 begins to take shape.

Below is everything we currently know about Apple’s next BIG iPhone.
[And, please, feel free to join the debate in the comments below – have your say on what you want from the future of

Apple’s iPhone business] Sept 9 2013
iPhone 6 name confirmed, likely to be a phablet
Apple’s Canadian arm has just let the cat out the bag, confirming the naming convention of the iPhone 5S’ successor that
will, unsurprisingly, be known as the iPhone 6.
“The Wall Street Journal suggested last week that Apple was actively testing an iPhone product with a 6in display, reports
Expert Reviews, “with a view to launching it as a device to sit between the iPhone 5S and upcoming iPad Mini 2. Now, a leak
at Apple Canada has all-but confirmed those plans.”
Apple's Canadian site said several of Apple's own applications, including iMovie, Pages, and Keynote, were “optimised for
iPhone 6”.
Apple, of course, is refusing to comment on the omission, which has since been removed, and while it could just be a typo
we’re struggling to see how abybody could accidentally type “iPhone 6” when they meant “iPhone 5S”.
Apple will announce its next iPhone tomorrow. Tipped to be the iPhone 5S, rumoured new features include a fingerprint
scanner, new processor, and a dual flash on the rear camera for more professional looking shots.
The iPhone 5C – Apple’s cost effective iPhone – is also rumoured to be making an appearance alongside the iPhone 5S
and iOS 7.
Tomorrow has all the makings of being a rather EPIC launch day.

iPhone 6 specs

As we mentioned before, the screen has been subject to a lot of discussion. Some think Apple needs to take the jump into
phablet territory (Galaxy Note, Xperia Z Ultra to name two) and although this is a distinct possibility, such screens will take
a lot to power and as such, Apple will need to boost the battery and processor.

Talking about battery life, it’s thought the iPhone 6 will feature a bigger battery than the 1,440mAh power pack the iPhone
5 included. Apple may boost this to 2,000mAh, but that will no doubt the chassis a little larger.
The iPhone 6 will launch on iOS 7 unless Apple announces a surprise iOS 8 update before then. It’s more likely the
company will launch the iPhone 6 with an incremental update (say, iOS 7.2) – after all, iOS 7 is a substantial enough
overhaul to prevent Apple launching a brand new OS.

The iPhone 6 will probably launch with Apple’s own A7 processor – said to be dual core. There’s no word on what the
processor will be clocked at though.
In terms of multimedia, we can expect a camera of at least 8-megapixels (probably 13-megapixels) with a dual LED flash.

The iPhone 6 will launch in a number of different storage capacities, although rumour has it the company will scrap the
16GB version and offer the device with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities.

iPhone 6 price

We expect the Phone 6 to be the top-level iPhone and as such, it will probably have a flagship price. The iPhone 5 is
available from £529 for the 16GB version, £599 for 32GB and £699 for 64GB. If Apple were to up the screen size and
storage, we would expect these prices to be upped to
iPhone 6 release date

The iPhone 5S is due to launch at some point in 2014, probably alongside the much-rumoured iWatch. It’s thought the
device will be released in the first half of the year, but there’s no word on exactly when that will be as yet.

Specs of iPhone6- full details.

IPhone6

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have been announced. So what does that mean for the iPhone 6?
Well, we'll tell you. Or, at least, we'll tell you what we can glean from rumor and speculation - some reliable, some not so much.

iOS 7: Apple's new look for iPhone and iPad
Given the iPhone's history - from the 3G onwards, there's always been a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone - so
it was no surprise the 5S was first and so we're looking at 2014 for a new iPhone 6.
One thing is for sure, with potential refreshes of such super handsets as the Samsung Galaxy S4 , Sony Xperia Z and HTC One, the next iPhone will have to seriously up its game.
iPhone 6 release date
The iPhone 6 release date will be in 2014. It will follow the iPhone 5S which will be released at the end of this week..

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek says that there will be a June 2014 release for the iPhone 6. We reckon it will be later than that, around a year after the 5S. Citi's Glen Yeung also believes that we won't see an iPhone 6 until 2014, although that's no big leap.

Interestingly, in May 2013 Stuff reported it received a photo of the till system at a Vodafone UK store (which it has since removed
along with the reference to Vodafone), with '4G iPhone 6' listed.
So could we see both an iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 in quick succession? Some reports suggest a new 5S in the late part of the year
before a revamped iPhone 6 very early in 2014.

iPhone 6 casing

It's been suggested that there could even be three size variants of the new iPhone - check out these mocked up images by artist
Peter Zigich. He calls the handsets iPhone 6 Mini, iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 XL (these look rather like the iPhone 5C variant though).
However, as ZDNet rightly points ou t, different size variants aren't exactly easy to just magic out of thin air.

The iPhone 6 will finally do NFC
About time too. Well, that's what iDownloadblog reckons, quoting Jefferies analyst Peter Misek. Many Android phones now boast
NFC and Apple appears to have been happy to be left behind here.
See our video below on what Apple needs to do to slay Samsung's Galaxy S4
The iPhone 6 will run iOS 8

With iOS 7 heading out of the traps now, who's betting against the next iPhone coming with iOS 8?
We'd expect a September or October release date for iOS 8 in line with previous releases.
iPhone 6 storage
We've already seen a 128GB iPad, so why not a 128GB iPhone 6? Yes, it'll cost a fortune, but high-spending early adopters love
this stuff.

    iPhone 6 home button

According to Business Insider, of the many iPhone 6 prototypes Apple has made, one has a giant Retina+ IGZO display and a "new
form factor with no home button. Gesture control is also possibly included". It will surely include Apple's new Touch ID finger print
tech though?

   iPhone 6 screen

The Retina+ Sharp IGZO display, would have a 1080p Full HD resolution. It's also been widely reported that Apple could introduce
two handset sizes as it seeks to compete with the plethora of Android devices now on the market.
Take this one with a pinch of salt, because China Times isn't always right: it reckons the codename iPhone Math , which may be a
mistranslation of iPhone+, will have a 4.8-inch display. The same report suggests that Apple will release multiple handsets throughout the year over and above the iPhone 5S and 6, which seems a bit far-fetched to us.
Patents show that Apple has been thinking about magical morphing technology that can hide sensors and even cameras . Will it
make it into the iPhone 6? Probably not.

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek also says he believes the new iPhone will have a bigger screen. Different sizes also seem rather
likely to us - the word on the street after WWDC 2013 was that there would be 4.7 and 5.7-inch versions.

More rumors in September 2013 point to a six-inch display, but this seems a little large to us.
iPhone 6 processor
Not a huge surprise, this one: the next processor one will be a quad-core A8 or an evolved A7. The big sell here is more power
with better efficiency, which should help battery life.

iPhone 6 camera

Apple's bought camera sensors from Sony before, and this year we're going to see a new, 13-megapixel sensor that takes up less
room without compromising image quality.
An Apple patent , uncovered by Apple Insider in May 2013, shows a system where an iPhone can remotely control other
illuminating devices - extra flashes. It would work in a similar manner to that seen in professional photography studios. Interesting
stuff.

iPhone 6 eye tracking

One thing seems certain - Apple can't ignore the massive movement towards eye-tracking tech from other vendors, especially
Samsung. It seems a shoe-in that Apple will deliver some kind of motion tech within the next iPhone, probably from uMoove.

iPhone 6 wireless charging

Wireless charging still isn't mainstream. Could Apple help give it a push? CP Tech reports that Apple has filed a patent for efficient
wireless charging, but then again Apple has filed patents for pretty much anything imaginable.
The tasty bit of this particular patent is that Apple's tech wouldn't just charge one device, but multiple ones. Here are more details
on the iPhone 6 wireless charging patent.
Meanwhile, a further Apple patent seems to imply that future iPhones will be able to adjust volume as you move them away from
your ear.

IPhon6- All about iPhon6

IPhone6

iPhone6.

With the recently launched iPhone 5s , Apple released a stunningly fast smartphone with
some great camera features, and unleashed a brand-new version of its mobile OS, iOS 7 .
However, this new model was the same size as the outgoing iPhone 5, and we didn't get a
bigger model, as some were expecting. It looks as though we will have to wait until the
iPhone 6 in 2014 for a larger model.

Although sales of the iPhone are high, the Android competition has all moved to large-
screen Full HD models, with the HTC One , Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S4 , so it
makes sense for Apple to compete on screen size.
In this article we're rounding up all of the iPhone 6 rumours. We'll give you all the current
information on the release date, price and specs, filtering the information to help work out
which rumours sound most likely.

    iPHONE 6 RELEASE DATE

Guessing Apple's release dates is a complete and utter nightmare, with practically every
prediction wrong. It's clear, given that the iPhone 5S was only released in September, that
we're not going to see the iPhone 6 until 2014 now.
Apple usually has products on sale for a year, but the iPhone 6 feels like a different
proposition to us. Rather than a replacement for an existing iPhone, it's more of an
addition to the line-up. We kind of see it replication what Samsung has with the full-size
Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, with the exception that Apple's small phone,
the 5S, is still really powerful.

Tim Cook has hinted at new products coming soon autumn launch in a call with investors.
"Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that
we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014," Cook said.
Relatively speaking, it seems fair that we can expect the handset soon, particularly as
Apple's Canadian ARM has apparently already leaked the iPhone 6 . If we had to be
pushed on a date, we'd say that early next year, between March and May would make
sense. This would give Apple enough distance from the iPhone 5S, and give it a chance to
take the limelight away from Samsung, which will be looking to release its Galaxy S5
handset around the same time.

   iPHONE 6 SCREEN

It's pretty safe to assume that the iPhone 6 is going to have a larger screen size than the
existing iPhone 6. Most of the rumours are that the iPhone 6 will have a 4.8in screen
(4.5in and 5in screen sizes have also been put forwards), which would make the phone
similar in size to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. At this screen size, Apple
could then move to a Full HD (1,920x1,080) resolution or even go beyond.
While Apple has not previously made a large-screen phone, upping the screen size for the
iPhone 6 makes a lot of sense. It means it can compete with the large-screen phones from
other manufacturers and keep the iPhone 5S as a smaller alternative, giving iPhone users
more choice.

Tim Cook has said, "Some customers value large screen size, others value other factors
such as resolution, colour quality, white balance, brightness, reflectivity, screen longevity,
power consumption, portability, compatibility with apps and many things. Our competitors
had made some significant trade-offs in many of these areas in order to ship a larger
display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist."
What that statement says, to us, is that Apple won't ship a large-screen iPhone until it's
managed to iron out all of the trade-offs. A thinner screen, to make a lighter phone, could
well be the right way to go, then.

It's no wonder, then, that Apple may also be considering the screen technology that it uses,
with a Sharp IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) screen top of the list. This new technology
allows for screens that use less power and are considerably thinner. Rumours certainly
picked up when the Sharp IGZO technology was demonstrated at CES 2013.

   iPHONE 6 GAZE DETECTION

A bigger screen requires more power, so any technology that can increase battery life has
to be good. For the iPhone 6 Apple could be about to revisit gaze detection technology,
where the phone can tell if you're looking at the screen or not. If you were to look away,
the phone could pause a video playing and turn the screen off. PatentlyApple has dug up
the full information on how the technology is likely to work.
Given that Samsung has similar technology in its Galaxy S4 smartphone, we'd say there's
a high chance that Apple will follow suit and implement its own version.

   iPHONE 6 iOS 7

We already have iOS 7, so it makes sense that this operating system will be used for the
iPhone 6. It's possible, given that the iPhone 5S has features specific to it, that the OS will
be updated to introduce new features with the new handset. For example, it could enable
NFC is Apple decides that it wants the technology to use for mobile payments; we wouldn't
bet on it, though, as it seems steadfastly against it.

iPHONE 6 CAMERA

For the iPhone 5S Apple upped the physical size of its 8-megapixel sensor, meaning that
each pixel gets more light. In addition, it upgraded the lens from an f/2.4 model to an f/2.2
model, increasing low-light performance again. Combined with the A7 SoC, the camera has
a couple of neat modes, including a 10fps burst mode that goes on until the phone's
memory is full, and a 120fps slow-motion mode.
It would make sense if Apple was to use this sensor in the iPhone 6, although, given it's a
bigger phone, with more room inside for components, it could well up the pixel count, with
a 12- or 13-megapixel on the cards.

   iPHONE 6 STORAGE

In terms of storage, 64GB has been the top model for a couple of years, and continues to
be so for the iPhone 5S. We're not expecting this to change for the iPhone 6, although we
know that the Apple can make a 128GB model, thanks to the recent launch of a 128GB
iPad 4 .

The new model doubled the maximum capacity of the previous high-end iPad (64GB). This
update was said to be about increasing the variety of uses for the tablet, with Apple stating
that more storage was good for large files for use in applications such as CAD and music
production. It's also a more useful amount of storage for photos and videos.

iPHONE 6 TOUCH ID

Touch ID, the fingerprint reader, was the one of the big talking points for the iPhone 5S.
Recent rumours suggest that Touch ID will also come to the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 , so
we'd really expect it on the iPhone 6.

Touch ID works brilliant and encourages people to be more secure, as using it requires a
passcode to be set. At the moment, Touch ID can only be used to unlock the iPhone and to
authorise iTunes and App Store payments, but it would make sense for Apple to be
thinking about new applications for the technology. We can easily see a future where
banking apps, for example, are authenticated through the phone.
For the technology really to be taken seriously, we'd expect to see it in as many mobile
devices as possible, which obviously includes the iPhone 6. The only real question is, will
we see Touch ID open up any new features? If Apple was to include a NFC chip, then Touch
ID could be used to authenticate payments. We're not necessarily expecting NFC, though,
as Apple has so far been dead set against including it.

  iPHONE 6 A7 SoC

Apple has just released the A7 SoC chip for its iPhone 5S, which is proving to be very fast.
It's got some great custom features, too, including the Image Signal Processor for the
camera, which lets the iPhone 5S shoot fast bursts and slow motion video. Given that this
64-bit chip is brand-new, we can't see Apple completely changing it for the iPhone 6.
Instead, we may get an upgraded version for the iPhone 6. This could include more cores,
perhaps moving from dual-core to quad-core, and perhaps a faster graphics core, similar
to how the current iPad has an A6X processor, which is the iPhone version with quad-core
graphics.
Leaked shots, before it was released, of the iPhone 5S correctly showed that it had a
brand-new processor, the A7.

  iPHONE 6 PRICE

Apple typically releases its new models at the same price as the old ones. If that holds out,
then, and assuming that the 16GB model is dropped, we'd expect the 32GB model to cost
£529, the 64GB model £599 and the 128GB model £699. However, if the company
continues to sell the iPhone 5S, we could be in for some new pricing, with the iPhone 6 a
premium model that sits above it, in which case all bets are off and we have no idea how
much it will be.
